With implementation of the new ATEX-rules the user as well as the manufacturer are responsible for duly design and construction. Therefore we ask you to fill out the data as completely as possible.
The selection of the applicable temperature class and indication of explosion division as well as indication of the ignition- and the flash point has to be given by you in each case.
If ignition- and flash point are not known the CAS-number of the substance probably could be helpful.
If the heating process takes place in zones 1 + 2 (gas-EX) between ignition- and flash-point it has to be quoted the LEL (lower explosion limit) anyway.
If the heating process takes place in zones 21 x 22 (dust-EX) it has to be quoted the ignition- and the glowing temperature anyway. (UEL = Upper explosion limit)
With priority we try to meet the primary explosion protection for our equipment (avoidance of arising of a combustible air-/gas-composition). Only, where this ist not possible the secondary explosion protection (prevention of ignition sources) is applied. The tertiary explosion protection (prevention of explosion propagation), is normally not necessary for our drum heaters.

Depending on requirements our melting containers can be provided with degree-exactly temperature distribution. The higher the requirements of the spatial and temporal temperature distribution the more complex is the construction. Therefore please quote only the true desired temperature exactness.
If you are able to fill in the queried product date entirely you will get a heating time calculation for your product together with our quotation.

Below are only a few equipment options which we can offer with our heating cabinets.

If you have a special desire for equipment/design then please insert in the belonging field or use point 17 „Problem definition“ to describe your wishes/applications.

On floor-level charging - i.e. heating cabinet without floor plate - please take care of a probably required heat-resistant ground at site, in dependence of the desired final-temperature.
It also should be taken into consideration that - on floor-level charging - much energy will get lost by flowing through the ground. Additionally exactness of temperature distribution is suffering within the heating cabinet under these circumstances.

As a standard our heating cabinets are equipped with a fresh-air inlet resp. exhaust nozzle. But these are not actively actuated but can be connected to existing exhaust-(sucking)-systems. This could be necessary in case of poisonous or smell-troubling substances.
In case that no exhaust system is already existing an actively actuated combined air-circulation-/ventilation-system can be provided. By means of a flap-system the volumetric flow rate of the fan can partly guided to outside. The so occurring negative-pressure effects at the same time the entry of fresh air into the heating cabinet interior. Especially when explosion protection design is required such a system/function could be necessary.
